Generation is a nice place to enjoy a cup of tea / coffee and to have lunch with a direct sight on the south wall of the Palace. Could be noisy next to the road, but ot was ok for us. Staff was very nice.

The foods and drinks are excellent, one of the best places I have been to in Mandalay, I went 3 times because the food and prices are so good, the only that could be better is the personal that don't talk English (nobody on restaurants, and they don't understand basic words) but u can try to communicate for translator, but be careful they can send you things you didn't order, don't be angry, they tried to make their best effort. :)

Generation is a good place to have tea and food. The place is silent and spacious. The hygiene is good and the food is delicious. But the waiter service needs to improve.

This is a lovely Cafe with many different options of foods to enjoy and relax. Both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians can enjoy many foods here. Price are reasonable and the staffs are very supportive. It is a good place to visit for your breakfast, lunch or even for dinners too.
